Puppets allow us to express ourselves in ways that many people could not publicly. We gladly accept outrageous behavior through the simple animation of a puppet.
Children especially respond to stimulation through puppet theater. Even the most withdrawn and shy child almost instantly becomes engaged through the fantasy world of hand puppets. Nothing lights a child's eyes up like watching puppet theater or acting out their own fantasies. Simple role playing is often the key to unlocking the reticent child's personality. |
