Social Studies Games

Where is Kenya? Who was the third president? What's the largest city in the world?

Questions like these can be answered in an informative and entertaining way by using games in your Social Studies classroom.  All teachers know the value of games as a teaching method and using history, government or other social studies games is an excellent way to teach these subjects. Nearly all of the social studies disciplines have appropriate games, including geography games, hstory games and even character education games.  Using social studies games will not only inform your students, but will hold their attention while they learn without realizing it.

Games are not only good for social studies, but can really be effectively used for Early Childhood.  For more of these types of games, visit our Early Childhood Games section.
